Your documents stay where you host them. This page also covers the live demo, which runs on our server.

Your documents, if you install SLM

The engine runs on your machine or your server. Your documents are not sent to us.
Model downloads (for example from ollama or Hugging Face) go to the sources you configure.
A cloud model or a cloud judge is used only if you switch it on. When it is on, the questions and passages it needs are sent to that service.
The engine does not include analytics or usage tracking.
Logs you keep on your own machine can record requests. Keep them on your own disk, and delete them on your own schedule.

Each question you send to the demo is processed on our server to produce an answer.
The demo app does not write your questions or answers to its logs.
Web-server logs record the address requested, your IP address, your browser type, and the time. They are rotated daily and kept for 14 days, then deleted.
Do not type anything into the demo that you would not want kept.
We do not show ads, and this site does not use analytics or tracking cookies.

This site serves its fonts from its own domain. No font requests go to Google or any other third party.

Trained adapters can reproduce parts of the text they learned from. Treat them as confidential, and control access to them, not only to the web app.
